Back in late September we got a call from a painting contractor we've worked with before, Greg Brescia
www.bresciastonepainting.com/, regarding a large project in Sonoma that was on the verge of needing a finish carpentry crew. Over the following several weeks we visited the site a few times to look it over and meet the general contractor (AMP Construction of San Rafael). We put a price together, won the bidding, and mobilized on October 31st.

The photo above shows the exterior as we first saw it, still shrink-wrapped as it had been since early on in the rough construction phases.

| James is one of several independent contractors we will have working with us. His background is in traditional Japanese joinery, starting with a six year apprenticeship in Japan while in his 20's. Not sure how much of that will come into play here, but maybe we can get him to sharpen our chisels. |
